How Do I Buy a Gun Online?

Why do you require a buyer to purchase a gun?
Federal law allows sales of long guns to persons 18 or older, and of handguns to persons 21 or older. We are currently working on the technical ability to allow both age restrictions to be applied appropriately, but until that capability is in place, we are forced to place an age restriction of 21 on all firearm sales. We hope to have this fixed soon.
How can I change/add/cancel my order?
Once an order is placed, we are unable to change, edit or cancel an existing order.
My Online Order Status Say Pending, What does that mean?
If you purchased a firearm, this means we are waiting on the supplier of your gun to confirm that they still have the inventory available. On rare occasions a gun may be sold before it is able to be removed from our site. If we are unable to fulfill your order immediately, we will find another source or refund your money in full if we cannot find an exact substitute in a timely manner.
If you purchased other accessories or merchandise, this means we are waiting for your order to ship.
If a product is out of stock, can I place it on the backorder?
Guns & Tactics does not currently allow out of stock items to be backordered. However, you can log into your account and add the item to your wish list, we are constantly adding new inventory!
Do you price match?
We do not currently price matches. Our goal is to provide a wide variety of quality products with unparalleled service. We rely on our local stores in your community to help in that endeavor.
However, if you see a used gun that you’d like to make an offer on, please feel free to use that option if the seller allows it.
What are your payment methods?
Guns & Tactics accepts Discover, Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit cards for payment. You may also choose to finance your firearm through Credova. For more information on financing, please visit Credova.com.
Can anyone sell a gun on Guns & Tactics?
No, our goal is to provide the best level of service, and our carefully selected network ensures that you will receive the best quality product and service when you shop with Guns & Tactics. We do not allow individuals to sell to others on our site.
What is Package Protection?
To provide greater safety, security and assurance for our customers, Guns & Tactics now automatically includes Package Protection at a flat rate as part of our shipping and delivery services for all Products ordered from the Guns & Tactics Site.

What’s a Firearms Processing Fee?
You will see a firearms processing fee on each order when you purchase a firearm. This broker fee assures you Guns & Tactics will be the only one charging your credit card, no last minute fees are added on, all shipping/transfer paperwork will be organized by Guns & Tactics, you will have access to a full customer service department and if any problems arise Guns & Tactics will handle them, including all returns.

What are the shipping and handling charges?
All firearms purchased will include a variable shipping charge based on the sale price of the gun.
Ammo is always shipped ground, and costs $14.95.
- There is an additional fee applied to orders over 100 lbs., this will be calculated in your shopping cart.
Optics, magazines, range gear, holsters and holders, and all other accessories shipping costs vary based on the level of shipping (standard shipping is free with an accessory order of $49+).

Do you Ship Internationally?
No, Guns & Tactics currently only ships within the United States & Puerto Rico.
Are there any fees or taxes when buy a gun?
Yes, Guns & Tactics charges a small fee for each order in exchange for securing the right inventory, maintaining and supporting the local dealer network, handling all the necessary paperwork to have your gun delivered, and providing ongoing support to our customers. You will also be subject to any applicable taxes for a purchase. In the event a gun needs to be shipped you will also be charged a nominal shipping fee.

How do I know if my order was shipped?
You can check your order status on the Order History page of your Account Dashboard.

Do you have a retail store?
No, Guns & Tactics does not have a retail store.
Can I have a gun sent directly to me?
No. Per Federal Law, all firearms must be sent directly to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) gun store.
Guns & Tactics will make sure that we ship your firearm to a proper FFL gun store closest to your home address.
How long does it take to normally receive my order?
For firearms, if your selected gun is currently in stock at a local store, you can pick it up immediately! If there is a need to ship the gun to your local FFL, please allow 5-7 days for receipt.
For Optics and magazines it varies based on the shipping option selected (standard, 2 day or next day).
Ammo and Guns & Tactics Merch ship standard and should arrive in 5-7 business days.

Do you ship to an AP/FPO address?
No, Guns & Tactics does not currently ship to any APO/FPO.
What documents do I need to present in order to buy a gun?
Your valid state driver’s license and depending on the firearm being purchased and your state regulations, concealed-carry or state issued permit may apply. Check your state requirements here.
Do I need to contact my local FFL dealer to have my gun delivery there?
No, Guns & Tactics will contact your local FFL, obtain a copy of their license, and verify that it is still current. We take all the hard work off your plate that other retailers make you do!
How will I know when my gun is ready to be picked up?
Guns & Tactics will send you an email once your gun is ready to be picked up.
What are transfer fees, and who do I pay them to?
Transfer Fees are charged by local FFL gun stores to receive a gun on behalf of an individual, as well as perform any background checks and file the required paperwork. These fees vary by store.

Any warranties on NEW firearms are governed by the Manufacturer’s warranty.

How do I pack my return?
Make sure the box you use has no labeling or other shipping indicators visible, and check to make sure the packaging/box doesn’t have any hazardous material indicators on it. Please also make sure the firearm is securely packaged inside the box, and then sealed properly.

Why do you require a day of birthday?
Federal, State, and Local laws have various age restrictions for different products. Guns & Tactics must verify that the purchaser of any items is of legal age.
How do I know what the legal requirements to purchase, own, or possess a gun in my state are?
Please visit or ask your local, state, or Federal officials to ensure you are in compliance with the most up to date local laws. It is your responsibility to understand the various laws and ensure that you are in compliance
What paperwork do I need to fill out?
You will not need to fill out any paperwork in order for your gun to be delivered to your local FFL dealer. Unlike other online retailers, Guns & Tactics will reach out to them to secure their current Federal Firearms License so that we can ship the gun as quickly as possible. When you pick up your gun, you will need to fill out any paperwork required by the dealer.
